crobinson_small.jpgHappy St. Patrick’s Day!

Many of you know that my own two children attend La Salle. Last week my husband and I attended the Drive for Five Finale dodge ball tournament there. Our daughter was on the organizing team and our son was on the sophomore team (sadly, they lost to the freshmen…). The purpose of the tournament was to raise money for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital – and they raised over $1300!

frbob_small.jpgA couple of Sunday’s ago, our Confirmation group saw a movie called, “To Save a Life.” It’s not out on DVD yet, but I highly recommend it for teens and parents to watch together. frbob_small.jpgDid you know at last Thursday’s Mass I caught Mr. Gregor from falling? Otherwise, he could have fallen flat on his back and really hurt himself. Actually, it was all planned. The 3rd grade class had chosen the theme of TRUST. I first told the story of a man who was basically evil as a young teen and man, but whose parents never gave up on him and trusted that God would send a miracle to change him. And today he is a priest traveling all over the world telling his story. He has written a book, No Turning Back which offers to be a great read.
